Confessional Privacy Notice
Your sins are yours. Exactly what happens to what you confess.
Last updated: 2026-10-04
Private by default
Every confession starts in Ephemeral mode: the conversation exists only in server memory while it lasts and is erased when it ends. It is never written to our database, never put on a blockchain, and never used to train AI models.
What leaves the Confessional
Your Sin Card contains only lines written by the Priest — never your words, names or details.
If you save your Soul and turn on the Sin Passport, we keep only the sin category and severity of each confession.
Nothing becomes public unless you write and publish a separate post to the Book of Sins.
Remember me (optional)
If you turn on memory, the Priest keeps a few short, non-sensitive facts so it can recognise patterns. They are encrypted with a key unique to you. You can see and delete each one, or erase everything at once — which destroys the key so the data can never be read again.
Safety
If you describe a risk to your life or someone else's, the Priest steps out of character and shows help resources. Automated systems check messages for these signals; no human reads your private confessions.
AI providers
To reply, your messages are sent to AI providers under contracts that prohibit training on them. See the Privacy Notice for the current list.
