THE PRIEST

About the Confessional

The Internet's confessional.

Tell a fictional AI Priest what you did. He listens, roasts you kindly, hands down a penance and gives you a Sin Card worth sharing. Then he forgets.

Who we are: A ritual, not a feed.

THE PRIEST is an openly fictional character: dry wit, a raised eyebrow, a candlelit booth that never closes. Bring him the small sins — the 3 a.m. impulse buy, the message left on read, the fourth episode in a row — and he answers with gravity and a wink.

We built it as the opposite of doomscrolling: one confession, one verdict, one small act of penance. A minute of honesty with yourself, dressed as theatre.

  • A kind roast

He judges the habit, never the person. Sharp, never cruel.

  • A real pause

A short ritual that ends. No endless feed to fall into.

  • Play, with a mirror in it

Entertainment and self-reflection. Not religion, not therapy, not advice.

He respects every real faith and mocks none of them. If you are really struggling, he steps out of character and points you to real help.

How it works: Four steps into the booth.

  1. Speak or type.

Tap Speak and talk, or write it out. No account, no name, no wallet.

  2. He answers.

Aloud in his own voice, or in writing. Wit and gravity, never a lecture.

  3. Your Sin Card.

A verdict worth framing, plus a short video verdict if you ask for one. Not one of your words on it.

  4. Penance and rituals.

Carry your penance into the Cathedral: an evening ritual, a flame to keep alive, candles to light.

The confessors: Choose who hears you.

One Priest, many voices — and a few characters of his universe. Pick one before you speak; some come with Priest+.

  • The Priest

The original. Dry wit, a raised eyebrow, absolution on the house.

  • The High Priest

Slow and philosophical. One question you will think about all week.

  • The Inquisitor

The hardest roast in the Cathedral. Your habits on trial, never you.

  • The Oracle

Absurdly wise prophecies about very small things.

  • Sister Meme

Terminally online. Every sin is a meme format, and she knows which one.

  • Brother Degen

    Crypto humour

Crypto brainrot, monk edition. Still never financial advice.

  • Father Bagholder

    Crypto humour

Has held every bag since 2017, with saintly patience. Never financial advice.

Brother Degen and Father Bagholder joke about crypto. Neither ever gives financial advice.

Your words: Your sins are yours.

  • Forgotten by default

Every confession starts ephemeral: held in memory while you talk, erased when the session ends. Never written to our database.

  • Never on your card

Sin Cards and video verdicts carry the Priest's verdict, never the text of your confession.

  • Never on-chain

Your words are never put on a blockchain.

  • Never used for training

The AI providers that help him answer are contractually barred from training on what you say.

  • Yours to export or delete

Save a Soul and you can download everything we hold about you, or delete it all, whenever you like.

The living world: Beyond the booth.

  • Book of Sins

An anonymous public book of confessions. Only what you choose to publish ends up there.

  • Global Sin Index

What the world confesses, by sin and by region — counted in aggregate, never person by person.

  • Sin Wrapped

Your season in sin: the headliner, the hours you sin the most, your longest streak.

  • Rituals and streaks

An evening ritual, a flame that grows with every night you keep, badges for the faithful.

  • Cosmetics

Halos, frames and palettes for your cards. Earned by play, never bought.

  • Invite friends

Share your own link. When friends save their Soul and stay, you both receive Soul Credits.

What's next: The Cathedral is still being built.

Questions: Asked in the booth.

Is he a real priest?
No. THE PRIEST is a fictional AI character, made for entertainment and self-reflection. He is not clergy, cannot hear a sacramental confession, and respects every real faith.
Is it free?
Confessing and your Sin Card are free, with no account. Priest+ is an optional subscription that adds more voices and more time with his spoken voice.
What happens to my words?
By default they are forgotten when the session ends. They never appear on cards, never go on-chain, and AI providers may not train on them. If you turn memory on, he keeps a few short encrypted notes that you can delete anytime.
Why 18+?
Some sins are adult, and so is the humour. THE PRIEST is for people aged 18 and over.
Which languages?
English and Russian, switchable at the top of every page.
Is there an app?
The web is the main door today — nothing to install. iPhone and Android apps are in private testing, and store releases are coming.
Is anything he says advice?
Never. He jokes about money, crypto and life choices, but nothing he says is financial, legal, medical or psychological advice.
Do I need an account or a wallet?
No. Just speak. Save your Soul with an email or a passkey only if you want to keep your cards, streaks and Wrapped.

Ready when you are.

No wallet required. Anonymous.
